Track My Garden for iPhone

Garden Software Studio respects your privacy. This policy describes how the iPhone app Track My Garden handles information in version 1.0.

Information stored on your device

The app maintains your garden details, garden ZIP codes, reservoir readings, nutrient and pH additions, product and bottle inventory, NFC bottle identifiers, and compatible Bluetooth meter information on your device. The app does not require an account or synchronize your garden database to a Garden Software Studio server in version 1.0.

Weather information

If you use the garden weather feature, the app makes network requests to obtain weather conditions for a garden location. A ZIP code or location derived from it may be used for these requests. Weather services and their technology providers may process the location and normal network information, such as an IP address, to fulfill the request. These requests are separate from cloud synchronization of your garden records.

NFC and Bluetooth

NFC is used to read and write compatible bottle tags. Bluetooth is used to discover, communicate with, and reconnect to compatible measurement devices. These features help you manage inventory and record measurements; they do not provide Garden Software Studio with a cloud copy of your garden database.

Backups and sharing

You may choose to export a backup of your app data. The backup can contain garden and inventory information. You control where you save or share exported files. If you share a backup with another service or person, their privacy practices may apply.

Advertising and analytics

Version 1.0 does not include advertising or a Garden Software Studio account-based analytics service. We do not sell your garden records to advertisers.

Data retention and deletion

Garden records and saved app information remain on your device until you change or remove them through app features or device management. Exported backups may continue to exist wherever you chose to save them, even if you remove information from the app. Deleting the app typically removes its local app storage, subject to iOS backup and restore behavior.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as Track My Garden gains new capabilities. A revised policy will be posted at this address with an updated effective date. If cloud synchronization, online accounts, or AI features are introduced in a future release, this policy will be updated to describe them.
